Kallashhk (Kal) paced impatiently back in forth as many thoughts raced through his mind. 'What could make the Death Watch suddenly want to attack like that?' 'Is it a smaller group in the Death Watch?' 'When is Master Uta going to arrive?' 'What should I get for breakfast?' That last thought startled Kal as he felt his furry stomach rumble. "Perhaps I can work better on a full stomach." Kal said as he headed for the door of the apartment he was staying at. Suddenly, right as Kal reached for the door, he heard a knock. Kal raised his eye brow and thought who it could be, regardless he opened the door.
It turned out to be a tall silver protocol droid holding a piece of paper with some writing on it. The droid burst to life as it said "Are you Master Kallashhk?" The droid asked as its eyes flashed. Kallashhk looked at the droid and replied," Indeed I am, I am assuming that is for me?" Kal said as he pointed at the paper. "It is sir and it is urgent." The droid said as he extended the arm with the paper in it. "Give me it then!" Kal said as he snatched the paper and slammed the door. He could still here the droid outside the door. "You have a good day sir."
Kal opened the folded paper and read:
Master Kallashhk
My transport to Mandalore has been shot down by anti-air. We have crashed in a forest north of Keldabae. I am the only survivor, please send help immediately.
Master Uta
Kal looked at the paper for a long time starting with wide eyes until he threw the paper at the ground, opened the door and ran for the community garage. Kal ran through the many parked speeders and found his. It was a rental and it had a few dents and scratches here and there but it still worked. Kallashhk hopped in the speeder and zoomed out towards the northern exit of the city hoping to find his lost Jedi friend.
