Name- Gallistra "Gale" Persianati
Species- Cathar - Juhani Subspecies.
Yes, upon further investigation, I found that the Juhani is the name of a subspecies of Cathar. Few resources make the differentiation, but these are my opinions on the matter. Mainline Cathar have very dominant feline features. Ears, Tails, muzzle, the works.The Juhani is much more human in appearance, bearing only minor varied patterns, such as stripes, slightly pointed ears, and perhaps finer features. Like the mainlines, they also possess the retractable claws of their species. The only portrayal of a Juhani Cathar that I'm aware of, is the jedi from KotOR, who bears the same name as her species. I don't feel her... lack of hair is enough to warrant that all juhani cathar appear as such.

Skin Color- A very short coat of tan fur, covers her body. It is unnoticeable at a distance, and only the observant would pick up on it when closer. Darker patterns can be noticed on her arms patterns and face.
Eye Color- Blue
Hair Color- Orangey-reddish
Cybernetics- None.
Faction- Republic

Clothing- When on duty, Gale wears the uniform of a republic pilot. Her's specifically would be a standard grey front-zip jump suit, with white boots, white helmet, and a life support panel on the front. "Lt. Persianati," is printed across the front left side and she added a full back patch bearing the sign of Nova Squadron, a yellow and white sunburst.
When off duty, she wears more casual clothing, though she frequently still wears her flight boots. Often, she wears light colored pants, and a white sleeveless shirt. A blue vest, normally worn closed, goes over the rest.
Regardless of whether she's on duty or not, she wears a Blue headband to keep her hair back, and a pair of ornamental bands around her upper arms.
Appearance- Gale's diminutive frame, at only 5'2" always bothered her. Growing up on Kashyyyk, the homeworld of the giant wookies, did not help with that issue, either. What it did allow was for her to develop an athletic build, competing in climbing races and other competitions with her wookie friends.
Though it's difficult to notice, there are some slight variations in the coloring of her fur, such as a slight lightening around her mouth.
Personality- She has a confidant, casual personality, and it often shows in her stance. Bravado, and a disregard for authority seems to be the attitudes that fighter pilots cultivate, and with her natural competitiveness, her own, as well as her cohorts attitudes only snowballed.
Like most of her people, she often seems very passionate. Passionately loyal, passionately happy, and passionately wrathful. She regards her fellow pilots, and friends as her clan, and will go to extreme measures for them.
History- Millenia before, in the time leading up to the Mandalorian Wars, the planet known as Cathar was decimated by the mandalorian fleet. It's people scattered, it took a long time for the planet, and it's people to recover from the blow, but in recent years it has been recognized as fully restored. Gallistra was the daughter of one family of Cathar that had yet to return to their homeworld. Where else would you find the cathar? This family lived on Kashyyyk, where the great Wroshyr Trees could remind them of the City Trees of their savanah homeworld.
Growing up on Kashyyyk was at least comparable to living on Cathar. As a girl, she often got into competitions with the nearby wookies. Though their larger size would never let her match them in strength, she frequently outmatched her fellow younglings in climbing agility. Annoyed by the ongoing difficulty of attempting to compete physically with a larger, stronger species, she looked into finding other things to train in, and found flying.
Within a few months she'd decided that flight was where it was at for her. Eagerly, she enlisted in the Republic Navy, and began training in all the necessary skills for her duties. She excelled, near the top of her class, being trained in maintenance, as well as basic piloting of all Republic craft of freighter and smaller size.
Once ready, she was given the rank of Lieutenant and assigned to Nova Squadron, a squadron of pilots who often saw action on their missions. There she achieved the nick name "Gale" in several ways. For one, it was said that if you displeased her, the strength of her complaints was akin to that of a windstorm. Another was that she was the best of Nova Squadrons pilots, when it came to dealing with the winds of atmospheric flight. Lastly, once, while Commander Dubracy of Nova Squad had landed his craft for a quick visual check, she flew directly over him at low altitude, resulting in a deafening windstorm that knocked him over, and got her several weeks of washing cockpits. Oh, "Gale" also sounds similar to her name, Gallistra.
After a couple of years of rowdy high flying and trash talking, she finally developed a respect for her Com. Nova Squadron was sent to the outer rim, where there had been recent, unexplained raids on republic craft. Their mission was to escort senators from rimworlds to Coruscant. Mission completed, they were stationed on Coruscant for the duration of the meetings, much to Gale's dismay. Senate meetings can last for months, and grounded all that time....
In order to fill that time on Coruscant, she splurged, buying an old antique Aratech 59-D Zephyr, and started fixing it up. Even with that to keep her occupied, she's really beginning to get bored.

A bit of a "fish out of water" xD, Delkar finds himself as the most practical of the squad, often hesitating to get into unneeded fights but being swept into the difficulties by the the "flood" of his friends reactions.
